The Dyson V15 Detect is pretty easy to use and maneuver, especially on hardwood floors. It's lightweight, and the Fluffy Optic cleaner head helps a ton by highlighting dust and debris, making it super easy to see what youâre cleaning.
According to our research, people find it pretty hassle-free for everyday use on hard surfaces, and the green laser light feature really makes those tiny particles stand out.
When it comes to carpets, it's a bit of a mixed experience. While some find it great for picking up dirt and pet hair, others have noted that it can be tough to push on thicker or high-pile carpets. You might need to crank up the suction, but keep in mind that this can drain the battery faster, which is important if youâve got a lot of carpet to cover.
The vacuumâs auto mode adjusts suction based on the surface, but it often needs a manual boost to get deep dirt out of carpets. So, you might find yourself tweaking the settings and sacrificing some battery life to get the best results on carpeted areas.
Overall, if you have a mix of hardwood and carpets at home, the Dyson V15 Detect is a solid choice. Just be prepared for a bit more effort and some setting adjustments on thicker carpets.
