The adidas Prime 6 Backpack isn't fully waterproof, but it does offer some water resistance. Basically, it's good for handling light rain or minor splashes, but it'll struggle in a heavy downpour or if it gets submerged.
The manufacturer's description mentions the backpack has a durable, woven exterior that’s easy to spot clean and features water-resistant properties. Just remember, water-resistant isn’t the same as waterproof. So if you're planning on being out in the elements a lot, you might want to look around for something that's better equipped for staying dry.
In terms of space, this backpack is quite roomy with an extra-large capacity of 2257 cubic inches. It has multiple pockets, a laptop sleeve, and a big main compartment, which is great if you're carrying school supplies, sports gear, or work items around.
The LoadSpring shoulder straps are a nice touch too, helping make it more comfortable to carry heavy loads.
Our research shows lots of people really like this bag for its storage and versatility. It's especially popular among high school students since it can handle everything from textbooks to gym shoes.
That said, there are some mixed reviews on durability. While the main material holds up well, there have been complaints about the zippers breaking under heavy use. This is a bit disappointing, especially with adidas's reputation for quality.
If you plan on packing it to the brim every day, keep that in mind as it might impact how long the backpack lasts.
Overall, the adidas Prime 6 Backpack is a good pick if you need a big, comfy bag for school, sports, or travel. Just be wary of its limitations in really wet weather and the potential zipper issues. Make sure the level of water resistance meets your needs before you go for it.
