When it comes to the diagonal lines, they seem to be a bit of a mixed bag based on our research. Some folks say the Akcoo Galaxy S9 Privacy Screen Protector is really good at doing its main job—keeping your screen private—without too much hassle in terms of installation.

However, the clarity is where some people have raised concerns. Those diagonal lines can show up when you're looking at the screen from certain angles, which can be distracting for some users.

A few people mentioned that while it keeps prying eyes at bay, it might not be as clear as other protectors they've tried, leading to a bit of disappointment. There have also been reports about fit issues, with some users saying it doesn't always sit perfectly on their Galaxy S9. This might come down to how precisely the installation instructions are followed.

Since experiences with screen protectors can be pretty subjective, I'd recommend being extra careful with the installation. Maybe watch some guide videos suggested by the seller to avoid any hiccups.

If you're having trouble, reaching out to the seller has helped some users iron out issues. The screen protector does come with extra adhesive and cleaning kits, which is a nice bonus to help with a smoother installation.

So, if you’re mainly after privacy and can live with a bit of diagonal line visibility, this screen protector might work for you.
