How loud the ASSAULTFITNESS Assault AirBike Elite is can vary depending on where you're using it and what your noise tolerance is. Based on our research, it's considered moderately noisy because it relies on air resistance, which tends to get louder the harder you pedal.
It’s kind of like a big fan—noticeable but not overwhelming, unless you're really cranking it up.
The bike uses an air resistance system similar to an industrial fan or a flywheel, creating a swooshing sound that’s pretty audible. This means if you're in a quiet room or near someone who’s sensitive to noise, they might find it a bit loud.
However, some folks actually find the noise to be part of the workout experience, almost motivating in a way.
From what we've seen, most people don’t find the noise level to be a deal-breaker. They often see it as a fair trade for the intense workout the bike delivers. Plus, the sound can help you judge how hard you’re working out, as it gets louder with your effort.
If noise is a big concern for you, think about where you'll be using the bike. Using it in a room with some background noise, like music or a fan, can make the sound less noticeable.
And if you’re working out at home in a shared space, throwing on some headphones might be a good idea.
In the end, while it may not be as quiet as some bikes using magnetic resistance, the performance and workout intensity seem to make it a worthwhile option for many fitness fans. The bike's durability and challenging workout are things people frequently praise, so if you're serious about your fitness, it might be a good fit for you.
