So, adjusting the height on the On-Stage KT7800+ Deluxe X-Style Keyboard Bench is pretty straightforward, or at least that's how the manufacturer describes it.
You've got height options from 19.5 up to 24.5 inches. It's designed to accommodate different setups, whether you're jamming on a keyboard, synth, or piano—a nice touch for finding that sweet spot for comfort during those long sessions.
The bench uses a multipoint locking mechanism to handle the height adjustments, which the manufacturer claims makes it secure and easy. This can be a real lifesaver if you need to quickly switch heights or if you're sharing the bench with others.
Based on what we've found, most people think the height adjustment feature is pretty user-friendly and consistent. It's been praised for staying stable once you pick a height, which is super important during practice or shows.
Though, there are a few mentions of the bench not quite reaching the advertised max height, capping off at around 21 inches for some folks instead of 24.5 inches. Might be worth double-checking when you set it up to make sure it's right for you.
Even with some of these height discrepancies, folks generally like it. They often talk about the cushioning and the solid X-style frame, which adds to its stability—a big plus for anyone who plans to really put it to work.
In a nutshell, the On-Stage KT7800+ seems to be a solid choice if you're after versatility and ease with height adjustments. Just remember to measure it when you set it up.
Overall, between its comfort and how reliable it is, it’s a good fit for both pros and hobbyists. Definitely worth a look if you need a bench that fits your playing style.
