The BCONE Pool Alarm by Lifebuoy connects to your phone using a dedicated app. This app sends you real-time alerts so you can keep an eye on your pool's safety, even when you're not right there. Connecting it is straightforward, and the device works with some smart home systems like Alexa to help you manage your pool's safety more efficiently.

The app isn't just for getting alerts—it has handy features like a smart swim mode, which lets you swim without setting off the alarm unnecessarily. After you're done, it'll automatically switch back to monitoring mode to keep things secure.

Our research shows people have mixed experiences with the app. Some folks say it effectively notifies them about disturbances, which is reassuring.

However, its sensitivity might be a bit hit-or-miss, leading to false alerts sometimes, especially if it's windy or there are jets or skimmers nearby.

The alarm is flexible and can connect up to four pool units, which is great if you have a larger pool setup. It's built to withstand environmental challenges, like sun and chlorine, so it should last a good while.

If you have any issues with connecting, Lifebuoy’s customer service seems to be quite helpful. It's worth investing some time in setting it up properly, particularly the sensitivity settings, to suit your specific pool area.

In a nutshell, the BCONE Pool Alarm pairs with your phone through its app and provides alerts as needed. Just be mindful of the sensitivity setting tweaks to get the best performance.
