Yep, the TCL QM85 does support Dolby Vision.
Specifically, the model called the TCL 65-Inch QLED 4K Smart QD-Mini LED TV (65QM851G) includes Dolby Vision IQ HDR, which is supposed to ramp up the picture quality.
This means you'll get brighter, more vibrant colors and deeper contrasts that adjust depending on your room's lighting. Pretty cool, right?
In addition to this, the TV uses QD-Mini LED tech, giving it up to 5,000 local dimming zones.
Basically, this helps make black levels super deep and colors really accurate. It's got Dolby Atmos support, too, so the audio can be pretty immersive.
From what we found, the TV can hit brightness levels up to 5,000 nits at its peak.
So, if your room is really bright, you’ll still catch all the details without annoying glare. Plus, it has a refresh rate up to 240Hz, which is awesome if you’re into gaming and want smooth playback.
It runs on Google TV, which makes navigating through streaming services a breeze, and it supports voice commands via Alexa and Google Assistant.
Super handy.
There are a few things some folks have pointed out, though.
According to our research, you might have to manually adjust picture settings because the consistency between standard dynamic range (SDR) and high dynamic range (HDR) content isn't always perfect.
Also, the built-in speakers might be okay for everyday watching, but if you’re after a more punchy sound, you might wanna think about an external sound system.
So, overall, the TCL QM85 seems to pack a punch with its advanced display tech and features, making it a solid option for all kinds of entertainment.
