If you're thinking about getting the Makita XRV01Z, there's something important to keep in mind: it comes as a 'bare tool.' This means it doesn't include batteries or a charger. It's ideal if you already have Makita's 18V LXT batteries because you can just buy the tool itself without spending extra on things you don't need.

According to the manufacturer's product description, it's an 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion 4-foot concrete vibrator, offering up to 13,000 vibrations per minute. This is perfect for when using a corded tool isn't practical and when you need to make sure your concrete structures are solid.

From what we've found, people really like the Makita XRV01Z for its strong performance and how comfortable it is to use. It has a dual-directional switch, so you can use it easily both horizontally and vertically, which helps reduce fatigue for the operator.

Plus, it's pretty lightweight at 7.7 pounds, making it easy to handle even over longer periods. It's compact too, which is handy for projects like countertops and concrete masonry units.

That said, you should know that some folks think it might not be powerful enough for really demanding jobs. It's great for medium or smaller tasks, but maybe not the heavy-duty stuff. That's just something to consider based on what you plan to use it for.

Also, remember that since it's sold without batteries and a charger, you'll need to consider the extra cost if you don't already have the compatible Makita 18V LXT batteries and charger. This might add up quite a bit, so it's worth factoring into your budget.

All in all, the Makita XRV01Z is a solid choice if you're looking for a cordless tool that's flexible and easy to use—just make sure you're set with the right batteries or ready to pick them up separately.
