The Fox Run Pickle/Olive Picker is pretty neat for grabbing pickles or olives from jars without the usual hassle. It's got a chrome-plated finish and a rubberwood top, which the manufacturer describes as both functional and stylish. At 6 inches, it's compact, so it's easy to handle and store—perfect for a dining table.
Our research shows that it has this cool fork mechanism; you just jab into whatever you're picking up and press a plunger to release. That could add a bit of fun if you're hosting or just having a snack.
Now, about your question on rust and mold. Some people have pointed out that the metal prongs aren't the most durable part of the design. According to our research, there are a few mentions of rusting if it's not kept dry.
It would be smart to make sure it's thoroughly dried after each use, just to keep it in good shape.
All in all, it's a nifty tool, but keep the feedback in mind. If rust or mold is a concern, it might be worth going through the pros and cons based on what we found, especially if you're planning to use it a lot.
