If you're looking at the BIG RED AT84007R floor jack for your lifted truck, here's a breakdown of what we found. This jack can lift up to 20 inches high, which might be suitable for some lifted trucks, but you'll want to double-check the clearance of your specific vehicle.
It's got some serious lifting power, handling up to 4 tons (that's 8,000 lbs), making it versatile for various trucks and SUVs. The manufacturer highlights, and our research backs this up, that it uses a dual piston pump system, which makes lifting smoother and faster—something that a lot of folks appreciate when doing maintenance.
However, keep in mind that this jack is really designed for low-profile vehicles, like sports cars or ones with lowered suspensions. It starts lifting from a low 4 inches, which is great for cars close to the ground but might not be as convenient for a lifted truck unless you're using extra blocks or extensions.
Safety is key, so it's important to make sure the jack is securely positioned and to use jack stands for extra security. It’s best to stick to flat, stable ground to avoid accidents.
In a nutshell, the BIG RED AT84007R is well-reviewed for its build quality and reliability and could be a good fit for various vehicles. Just remember to check your truck’s specific needs to see if this jack meets them or if you might need some additional gear.
Always keep safety as your top priority when using any floor jack.
