Yep, the AOCHUAN M2PRO Gimbal Stabilizer can work without an app, which is great if you want to skip the usual hassle of downloading new apps and figuring them out. This way, you can get started with using the gimbal right away.
Our research indicates the gimbal has built-in AI for facial tracking that you can control with hand gestures. This means you can manage portrait shots and AI tracking without needing extra apps, which is a nice perk considering how some gimbals require you to juggle compatibility issues.
The manufacturer describes this device as a versatile 4-in-1 tool—it can function as a gimbal stabilizer, selfie stick, and phone holder. Its AI features really bolster its face and motion tracking, making it a solid pick if you're into capturing action videos or livestreaming, all without dealing with app setups.
However, some folks have mentioned finding the initial setup a bit tricky due to limited instructions. But according to what we've found, once you get the hang of the gesture controls, using the gimbal becomes much easier, and you can make the most out of all its features.
While it might take a little bit to get comfortable with everything the gimbal offers, the fact that you don't need an app simplifies things a lot. Plus, it still packs plenty of functions, which can really boost your mobile photography or videography skills.
All in all, with its AI tech and ability to operate without an app, the AOCHUAN M2PRO is pretty convenient for different shooting scenarios.
Whether you're a tech enthusiast or someone who likes to keep it straightforward, it's a handy option to consider.
