The Ner Mitzvah Crystal Candle Holders are made from crystal glass, as noted in the manufacturer's product description. They're intended for both decorative and ceremonial use, which implies they should handle standard candle usage pretty well.

But, according to our research, reactions to their performance can vary when candles are burning. While these holders are meant to securely hold taper candles and add a touch of sophistication to any setting, some folks have raised concerns about their durability. There are reports of the holders cracking or shattering under heat, with one example mentioning the glass cracking after just a few uses. Another person was disappointed when theirs broke during regular use.

On the flip side, not everyone has the same experience. Many people appreciate their attractive design and good value. They've been called sturdy and stylish by some who had no trouble with heat damage, so it seems that how they hold up might depend on how they're used.

If you go for these candle holders, it's a good idea to monitor them when the candles are lit, especially if you're planning on keeping them burning for a long time. Maybe try to set them up in a way that avoids direct heat exposure, or use them when the candles won't be lit for too long.

In short, while the Ner Mitzvah Crystal Candle Holders can really class up a place, it's wise to be cautious about potential heat issues. If you balance their look with mindful use, you can enjoy them without worry.
