The Olsa Tools Magnetic Socket Organizer is designed to hold 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch, and 1/2-inch drive Metric sockets. The manufacturer's product description mentions it works with both standard deep and shallow sockets.
However, if you're mainly using impact sockets, be aware that it might not fit all of them perfectly. Our research found that some folks have had trouble fitting larger or thicker impact sockets.
For instance, our research shows issues with 1/2-inch drive impact sockets from brands like Matco or Icon, mostly because of their thick walls. These are made tough for durability but can be tricky to fit into the organizer's slots.
While the magnetic strength and quality are praised, it's wise to be cautious if your collection includes many impact sockets. A few people have even modified their organizer, like drilling bigger holes, to make everything fit, which isn't ideal for everyone.
If your sockets are mostly impact sockets, particularly the bigger ones, it might be worth double-checking sizes with the manufacturer or looking into alternatives that specifically cater to bigger or impact socket sets.
But, if your sockets fit within the standard sizes the Olsa Tools organizer is meant for, it's a great choice for keeping your tools tidy and within easy reach.
