The CyberPower CP900AVR UPS has a capacity of 900VA and 560W. This should cover devices like your computer, router, and other essential electronics during a power outage.
It has 10 outlets, with five offering battery backup, so you can keep your most crucial devices running long enough to save your work and shut down safely if the power goes out.
Setting it up is pretty simple—just plug it into a wall socket and the battery starts charging. According to our research, people find this unit easy to install and reliable, even when power blips happen. One handy feature is its Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which smooths out minor power fluctuations without needing to switch to battery power. This helps in extending the battery life.
But there are a few things to keep in mind. Some folks mentioned it's a bit tricky to track the remaining battery power since there's no LCD display. Others have reported that the unit can unexpectedly shut down during power outages or that the battery doesn’t hold a charge as well as they hoped.
Also, if you're a Mac user, you might run into some compatibility issues with USB connectivity since it's mainly designed for older PC connections.
All in all, the CyberPower CP900AVR UPS can be a solid choice for keeping your equipment protected from power interruptions. Just make sure to consider the specific needs and some of these potential quirks before deciding.
