Wondering about the stimp meter speed for the Wellputt 26' High Speed Training Mat? It's designed to mimic a fast green, but the exact stimp reading isn't specified by the manufacturer. Basically, it's set up to give you a challenge similar to what you'd find on an actual golf course.
This mat stands out because it’s paired with an app available on iOS and Android. According to our research, the app has over 50 practice exercises to help you work on your putting skills, regardless of your experience level.
And if you want to mix it up a bit, there are game challenges, too, to keep your practice sessions interesting.
There's also an instructional book included, packed with 72 exercises, offering you a range of drills whether you're a beginner or a seasoned golfer.
Just a heads-up: the Wellputt mat doesn’t have an actual hole. Instead, it has markings to help you focus on where your putt stops, which can really hone your accuracy and control.
But, if you're someone who really likes having a hole to aim for, this might be something to think about.
Make sure to set it up on a smooth, firm surface to get a true roll, and keep in mind you'll need a good amount of space since it's 26 feet long.
If you've got the space and surface for it, many serious golfers find it a really effective training tool.
