So, if you're wondering about the recommended age for the Funko Disney The Haunted Mansion – Call of The Spirits Board Game, our research points to it being suitable for players aged 9 and up. This makes sense, considering the mix of strategy and the slightly spooky theme.
The game is designed for 2 to 6 players, and it's sort of like stepping into Disney's Haunted Mansion ride. Players collect Ghost Cards and navigate the board, trying to avoid Haunt Cards, which adds a bit of strategy and keeps things interesting.
There's a bit of a learning curve, especially if you're new to strategic board games. But from what we've seen, with a little patience and maybe watching a few online tutorials, the rules get easier to pick up.
It's been compared to games like Trash Pandas or Sushi Go due to its card-drafting mechanics.
Once you get a handle on how it all works, it becomes a pretty rewarding experience. There's a lot of replay value, too, since each game can unfold differently. It's a fun choice for family game nights, especially if there are Disney fans in your group.
So, while it might take a little bit of effort to learn at first, the experience it offers is worth it. Just keep an open mind, and you'll likely enjoy some great game nights.
Happy haunting!
