If you're thinking about getting the Ryka Women's Influence Training Shoes and are curious about the arch support, here's the scoop. These shoes are specifically crafted for dance fitness and low-impact workouts. The manufacturer includes N-Gage energy return foam for cushioning and a lightweight EVA midsole, which should make them pretty comfy. The shoes are designed with a woman's foot in mind, offering a narrower heel and a roomy toe box—which aims to provide a snug fit while still being flexible.
When it comes to arch support, our research shows mixed feelings. Many have found the support suitable for activities like strength training, dance, and even some weightlifting. For instance, some folks have highlighted the arch support as a plus, especially if you have specific arch-related issues.
Keep in mind, though, fit and comfort experiences can vary. A few people, like Katherine B., mentioned that the shoes feel a bit short, suggesting you might want to size up for extra comfort. Others have noted that the toe box might not be as roomy as expected for a shoe called 'wide.'
Durability is something to consider, too. While many find them supportive and comfy, they may not be the best for super intense activities over time. One person mentioned they weren't ideal for high-stress workouts like CrossFit.
So, if arch support and comfort are your main concerns, these could be a solid pick, particularly for low-impact activities. It might be a good idea to try on a couple of sizes to see what feels best.
And if you're planning on doing high-impact workouts, you may want to check out other options that can handle the intensity better. Ultimately, it depends on your specific foot shape and workout habits.
