The Sonos Move 2 is pretty flexible when it comes to connectivity options, so you have a lot to work with. According to the manufacturer's product description, it supports Apple AirPlay 2. This means you can stream music directly from your iPhones, iPads, and Macs.
It fits nicely into the Apple ecosystem, letting you use various apps on those devices to play your tunes without needing to stick to just the Sonos app.
From what we've found, the AirPlay 2 feature works smoothly, and setting it up is pretty easy. The connection is stable too, so your music streams without any hiccups.
Besides AirPlay 2, the Move 2 also has Bluetooth connectivity. This allows you to connect virtually any Bluetooth-enabled device, so whether you're on an Android phone, a Windows laptop, or any other gadget with Bluetooth, you can connect and start listening without any hassle.
The Move 2 is also Wi-Fi capable, meaning it can hook up to your home network. This opens up features like multi-room audio, streaming from various services, and controlling your setup through the Sonos app. You can manage several Sonos speakers in different rooms, all playing the same or different tracks in sync.
One thing to note is that, according to our research, some people have run into occasional issues with the Sonos app and software. It's not something that'll ruin the experience, but it’s worth keeping in mind.
So in short, the Sonos Move 2 gives you Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi to cover a wide range of connectivity needs. It's a solid pick for most audio setups.
