46mm Series 11 Compatibility
The larger model accepts bands from multiple generations:
- 46mm bands (Series 10/11)
- 45mm bands (Series 7/8/9)
- 44mm bands (Series 4/5/6/SE)
- 49mm bands (Apple Watch Ultra)
If you're upgrading from any larger Apple Watch from the past several years, your existing bands will fit.
42mm Series 11 Compatibility
The smaller model has specific compatibility rules:
Compatible bands:
- 42mm (Series 10/11 only)
- 41mm (Series 7/8/9)
- 40mm (Series 4/5/6/SE)
- 38mm (Series 1/2/3)
Not compatible:
- Original 42mm bands from Series 1, 2, or 3
