The Pearington 16 Device Charging Cabinet is designed to manage and charge up to 16 devices like iPads, Chromebooks, and laptops with screen sizes up to 17 inches. This makes it a handy option for places like schools and offices where multiple devices need to be charged securely and neatly.
Dimensions
According to the manufacturer's product description, the dimensions of the Pearington 16 Device Charging Cabinet are:
- Height: 15.4 inches
- Width: 20.25 inches
- Depth: 12.75 inches
These dimensions make it pretty compact for tabletop use while providing ample storage and charging space.
Functionality and Performance
Based on our research, the cabinet is generally well-regarded for its sturdy build and functionality. Many find it easy to assemble and appreciate that it can accommodate iPads even with their cases on.
Known Issues
However, there are some recurring issues. A significant number of people have reported problems with the cabinet doors not fitting correctly—in particular, the doors seem to be about 1/4 inch too tall to close properly. This has led to frustration and, in some cases, returns or exchanges.
Another point to note is that the power strip outlets inside the cabinet are a bit cramped, which can make plugging in bulkier chargers tricky.
Conclusion
While the Pearington 16 Device Charging Cabinet is solid and functional, the door-fitting issue and tight power strip configuration are worth considering. If having lockable doors is crucial for you, just be aware you might run into some assembly challenges.
Overall, it's a good pick if you need a high device capacity and durable build, but it might require a bit of tweaking to get just right.
