The DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 Convertible Crib measures 54.25 inches long, 35 inches wide, and 41.88 inches high. This makes it a great size for most nurseries—spacious enough for your baby, but not overly bulky.
Just a heads-up, the crib doesn't come with a mattress. Even though some photos show it with one, you'll need to buy a separate mattress that fits these dimensions.
Our research shows the crib is well regarded for being sturdy, though putting it together might be a bit of a puzzle since the instructions could be clearer. That said, once you get it all set up, many folks mention it looks nice and holds up well. It's available in different finishes like White and Cherry, so you can pick one that matches your nursery decor.
Safety-wise, it's Greenguard Gold Certified, so you know it's low in chemical emissions. Plus, it's made from sustainable New Zealand pine wood, which is a nice eco-friendly addition.
One of the neat features of this crib is that it can convert as your child grows. It starts as a crib and can become a toddler bed, a daybed, and finally a full-size bed. Just keep in mind you'll need to buy extra kits for those conversions, as they don't come with the crib.
All in all, if you need a crib that's flexible and looks good while being safe, this one could be a good option for you.
