The AmeriGlide Rave 2 Stair Lift is generally liked for being functional and easy to use, but there are a few things potential buyers might want to know. One noticeable downside is that it doesn't have a digital diagnostics display, which would make troubleshooting simpler. This is something both professional reviews and our research have mentioned, but it doesn't seem to really affect the overall satisfaction of the folks using it.
From what we've found, this lift is designed to be installed on your own, which is great for anyone wanting to skip the cost of hiring professionals. It's packed with features for convenience and safety, like safety switches, a seat that swivels for easier getting on and off, and a battery charging system that works at both track ends. This means it'll still work even if the power goes out, which is huge for anyone relying on it for getting around.
According to our research, many who use the lift have said it's straightforward to operate and really helpful for navigating stairs. Some people have run into setup hiccups, mostly with the seat sensor or other minor adjustments, but these were typically sorted out by reaching out to customer support or finding advice from others who’ve faced the same issues.
Even though it doesn't have a digital display, the AmeriGlide Rave 2 comes with useful features like wireless call stations and safety mechanisms, which help make it a reliable choice for improving mobility at home.
So, while there are a few minor setup bumps and it's missing a diagnostic display, the AmeriGlide Rave 2 Stair Lift offers a good package of features that a lot of people find meets their needs. Its ability for self-installation, reliable performance, and supportive features make it a sensible option for anyone looking to make their home more accessible.
