If you're looking at the Design Works Crafts Punch Needle Kit for Christmas, it's good to know what you're getting—and what you'll still need. Based on how the manufacturer describes it, this kit comes with printed fabric, embroidery floss, a 3½-inch hoop, and illustrated instructions.
However, you'll have to get a punch needle separately since it's not part of the package. So, make sure you've got one at home, or plan to pick one up.
Our research shows that some people were caught off guard by the missing punch needle. One person mentioned they had to buy it after getting the kit, which was a bit of a letdown. To save yourself from that surprise, double-check your supplies before diving in.
Another thing that's come up is that the kit doesn't include a third shade of green floss. Depending on how detailed you want your design, you might want to grab some extra supplies if you're aiming for the traditional festive look.
Planning ahead with these details means you won't hit any bumps mid-project.
Despite these little hiccups, the kit is a fun and cute craft project to take on for the holidays. It's pretty straightforward and can be finished in a reasonable amount of time, whether you're new to punch needle embroidery or a seasoned crafter.
The step-by-step instructions are helpful for beginners.
Just make sure you're set up with everything you need—maybe a little extra floss—and your crafting experience will be much smoother. With some prep, this kit can become a festive and enjoyable part of your holiday crafting.
