The Steelcase Gesture Office Chair in Graphite Gray Fabric is known for its top-notch ergonomic design and adjustability. But, based on our research, people have mixed feelings about its lumbar support. The built-in lumbar support may not be strong enough for those who need significant lower back support, especially for long periods. Some found it didn't relieve lower back discomfort during extended use.
However, the Gesture really excels in its other ergonomic features. It's got amazing adjustability, including 360-degree armrests that can fit a variety of activities and postures. These features are well-loved and contribute to the chair’s overall comfort and adaptability in different work settings.
So, if lumbar support is your main concern, the Gesture might not be perfect for you. But, if you want a chair with great overall ergonomic benefits and high adjustability, it could still be a good buy.
