Setting up and using the Litter-Robot 4 Core Bundle by Whisker seems to be pretty straightforward according to our research. Most folks find it convenient for tackling the dreaded litter box duty.
The self-cleaning feature is a hit, but there is one hiccup—while the bundle comes with six OdorTrap refills, the holder required for these is not included and has to be bought separately. This might be a bit of a letdown, especially given the price.
We noticed that some people have received a 15% rebate coupon from customer service to buy the holder, so at least there's an option if you're feeling the pinch.
Aside from that, the Litter-Robot 4 has some nifty features. The manufacturer claims the self-cleaning mechanism cuts down on odors significantly, so even without those OdorTrap Packs, it generally does a good job at keeping smells at bay.
Plus, it's got some techy perks that are pretty popular, like app control. You can adjust settings and keep tabs on it from your phone.
If odor control is your main concern, it might be worth snagging the holder to make the most of the OdorTrap refills.
All in all, even with that minor hassle, the Litter-Robot 4 makes life a bit easier for cat owners who want to ditch daily scooping with its setup and user-friendly features.
