From what we've gathered, the Leader Accessories Deluxe Padded Kayak Seat is pretty straightforward to install.

One aspect that seems to help is its lightweight design—it weighs only about 2.68 pounds, according to the manufacturer's description. So, handling it while setting it up shouldn't be a hassle. Just a heads-up, though: it can get a bit heavier, around 2 extra pounds, when wet. If you're often kayaking in damp conditions, it might be something to consider, but it doesn't seem to make installation any more difficult.

The seat is a blend of 210D polyester and EVA foam padding, which the manufacturer lists as being quite durable in various water sports conditions.

While the EVA foam is meant to offer comfort, we've found mixed opinions here. Some folks are happy with it for shorter trips, while others suggest adding some extra padding if you're heading out for longer adventures.

Installation is pretty flexible, thanks to the seat's adjustability. It has four straps that help you secure it properly on your kayak or stand-up paddleboard.

Our research indicates that this adjustability is a big plus for many, as it works with a variety of kayak models. People generally find these straps easy to work with, allowing for a snug fit that helps with stability.

Overall, if ease of installation is your main concern, this seat seems like a solid choice, especially for short to medium-length outings.

Just bear in mind that you might want to make a couple of adjustments for additional weight or extra cushioning, depending on your needs and the kayaking conditions you're dealing with.
