The Bosch GLM165-25G comes with a green laser that's meant to be more visible outdoors compared to a red one. The manufacturer mentions that this green beam is around four times brighter than red beams, which can be super helpful when you're measuring outside and dealing with various lighting conditions.
From our research, it seems like many folks have found the green laser effective during the day. It stays visible even when the lighting isn't great, which definitely helps if you're working in the sun. This makes it a good fit for those outdoor jobs where you need to see clearly.
Just a heads-up, though—this model doesn’t come with Bluetooth. That means you can't send measurements directly to your phone or computer. If that's something you need, you might want to check out the GLM165-27CG or other Bosch models with that feature.
But if Bluetooth isn't a dealbreaker, the GLM165-25G is really solid for straightforward measuring without the extras.
So, if you're mainly focused on having an outdoor-friendly laser that's easy to use and accurate, this one could be a good pick. Just remember, while it lacks some tech features, it's reliable for those basic measuring tasks.
If integrating measurements with apps is crucial for you, looking into Bosch models with Bluetooth might be the way to go.
