If you're thinking about using the CATIGA CS-121 Scientific Calculator for your college math classes, here's what we found out. This calculator can graph formulas and show equations and their solutions at the same time, which is pretty handy if you need both visuals and numbers to solve problems. According to the manufacturer's description, it's made to be easy to use and works with various modes for different math levels—from beginner to advanced.

However, when it comes to graphing, our research shows a mixed response. Some found it convenient and affordable for basic calculations, but others mentioned it’s a bit tricky to make the graphing features work well. The main issue seems to be a lack of clear instructions, which leaves some folks struggling to fully utilize this feature. One person even noted that they really needed extra tutorials to get the graphing function to work as expected, suggesting that better user support would be helpful.

So, if you’re focusing on non-graphing tasks and are on a budget, the CS-121 might suit you just fine. But if your classes require a lot of graphing, you might want to check out other models that are better known for their graphing capabilities. These usually come with better user ratings and tend to be more efficient for graph-heavy math work.

In the end, the CATIGA CS-121 can handle general math class needs well, especially if you're keeping an eye on the budget and don’t need intense graphing features.

But for classes where graphing is super important, going for a more specialized calculator could save you from a lot of hassle.
