Hey there! If you're looking into Purina Pro Plan for a dog with a sensitive stomach, specifically the High Protein Shredded Blend Chicken & Rice formula, it might be worth considering.
Based on our research, a lot of dog owners have had good experiences with this particular formula for their sensitive pups.
The manufacturer highlights that it's made with real chicken as the first ingredient, which means it's packed with protein. This is great for dogs that need to keep up their muscle mass and stay active. Plus, it includes rice, which is pretty easy on the digestive system and helps provide energy.
A big plus of this food is the probiotics it contains. These are helpful bacteria that can support your dog's digestive health by balancing the gut flora. People have noticed better digestion in their dogs after switching to this formula, which is promising for those tricky sensitive stomachs.
Additionally, it's got Vitamin A and omega-6 fatty acids, which are known to be good for the skin and coat. From what we've gathered, some folks have seen nice improvements in their dogs' coats, which is a nice bonus.
Taste-wise, it seems to be a hit even with picky eaters, so it checks the box for being both nutritious and enjoyable.
There have been some hiccups with shipping, according to a few people, but that's more about delivery problems than the food itself. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering online.
Remember, it's always a good idea to watch how your dog reacts to any new food, as allergies or sensitivities can be unique to each pup.
On the whole, this formula from Purina Pro Plan seems like a solid choice if you're dealing with a sensitive stomach issue and seeking added dietary support.
