Charmin Ultra Strong Toilet Paper tries to strike a balance between being strong and somewhat soft. From what we've found, people often mention how durable it is, which makes it pretty reliable for cleaning up. The manufacturer's description also notes that it's clog-safe and septic-safe, which might put your mind at ease regarding its flushability.
However, because it's strong and thick, there might be a few plumbing hiccups if you have older or low-flow systems. Our research suggests that some folks have had issues with clogs because the toilet paper takes a bit longer to break down.
If you're mainly after strength and reliability, this might be a good option for you since it holds up well without tearing. In terms of softness, many find it comfortable enough, but if you want something super soft, you might want to check out Charmin Ultra Soft instead.
So, Charmin Ultra Strong gives you a mix of strength and decent softness. If you think plumbing might be a concern, maybe start with a smaller pack to see how it goes before buying in bulk.
If clogs are a recurring issue at your place, you might want to look into options meant to break down faster or suitable for older plumbing systems.
