The Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder Pedals are about 19.29 inches wide, according to the manufacturer's specs. This size seems to offer a good balance—spacious enough to be comfortable during extended flight sims without taking up too much room.
One thing to keep in mind is that these pedals have a self-centering rudder axis, which gives you a decent mix of smoothness and resistance. However, the pedal resistance isn't adjustable, so what you feel is what you get.
From what we've found, some folks are fine with the default spring tension, while others wish they could tweak it to fit their style better. If you love customizing every part of your setup, this might feel a bit limiting.
The build quality and reliability seem to be solid, but if you're really into having adjustable resistance, you might want to consider other brands. Some of them offer pedals where you can adjust the tension, although they could be pricier.
If adjustable tension is a must, you could also look into aftermarket modifications for the TFRP pedals. There's a whole community out there finding ways to tweak and enhance their gear.
Whether you go with the Thrustmaster TFRP for its solid performance and price or look elsewhere for more customization, just make sure it fits what you're looking for in your flight simulation setup.
