The Great Stuff 99108824 Smart Dispenser seems to do a pretty solid job at sealing gaps and cracks. The manufacturer says it's got this cool reusable dispenser, which means you can use it multiple times over 30 days. That really cuts down on the mess you usually deal with when using those single-use expanding foams.
From what we've found, a lot of folks are happy with how well it seals and insulates different areas. They really like that you don’t have to buy a new can for every project—it’s reusable, so you can tackle several jobs without extra hassle. This is super handy if you’re spacing out your home improvement tasks.
But, keep in mind, not everyone has the exact same experience. While that reusability feature is awesome, you’ve got to handle it carefully to get the most out of it. Some people mentioned issues with the nozzle not locking right, which can cause leaks or make it harder to reuse the foam effectively.
So, while it generally works well, you’ve got to clean it properly after each use and make sure the nozzle is secure to avoid these problems.
Overall, if you plan to use the Smart Dispenser over several days, it seems to do the job well. Just be ready to handle those minor nozzle issues, and you'll find it quite handy for DIY projects. Its reusability is a big plus for anyone wanting a flexible and practical sealant option.
