The Soundbrenner Pulse metronome is pretty cool for musicians who want to feel the beat as much as hear it. From what we've found out, the vibrations are strong enough to help you stay on tempo during practice or performances.
One of the great things about it is how it gives you tactile feedback, which is super helpful when it's noisy and a regular metronome just doesn't cut it. According to our research, the vibrations are strong and effective for keeping time, yet still comfortable to wear. You can even tweak the vibration intensity with its smartphone app.
The manufacturer really focuses on these features, showing off how you can customize through the app. You can adjust time signatures, change the light color, and personalize the vibration patterns, making it feel like your own rhythm coach on your wrist.
Just a heads up, the device itself doesn't have a display to show the BPM, but it syncs with a smartphone app where you can set it up. You can tap out a tempo directly on the device, but you won't see the exact BPM unless you use the app. If you really need to see the BPM right on the device, this might be something to consider.
But if you're okay using the app, it's not a big deal. The app adds a ton of extra functionality and makes the Pulse even more useful. Our research suggests that many find this combination of the wearable and app a boost to their practice sessions.
So, if you want a metronome that's wearable and offers powerful vibrations, the Soundbrenner Pulse might be a good fit. Just remember, it relies quite a bit on the app for all its features.
