The Master Lock 5401EC lock box is pretty handy for storing keys securely. According to the manufacturer's product description, it has a roomy interior that's designed to hold several keys at once. From what we've found, you can comfortably fit about five to six standard-sized keys in there. Of course, the exact number might vary a bit depending on the size and shape of your keys.
Another thing to note is its combination lock. You set a 4-digit code, and interestingly, the code can be entered in any sequence. So, if your code is '1234', you could enter '4321' or any mix of those numbers, which some find convenient, though it's not everyone's cup of tea in terms of security.
A little quirk we've come across is that you might need to re-enter the code to close and lock the box properly after use. So, just a heads up to keep your combination handy, not just to get in, but to secure it again when you're done.
Overall, the 5401EC seems like a solid option for key storage, especially if you need something reliable and easy to use for sharing access with family or for rental properties.
