The manufacturer highlights the quality of the nonstick surface as a major perk, and lots of folks have mentioned how well it cooks and how easy it is to clean.
That said, like with most nonstick pans, how long the coating holds up really depends on how you use and maintain it. Here are a few tips that might help keep the coating in good shape:
-
Choose the Right Utensils: Stick to using wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils to avoid scratching it.
-
Keep Temperatures in Check: It's best to cook on low to medium heat since high temperatures can wear down the coating.
-
Gentle Cleaning: Steer clear of harsh cleaners or scrubbing pads. Just wash it with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge.

Skip the Dishwasher: Even if some Tramontina pans can go in the dishwasher, washing by hand is better for the nonstick layer.
-
Careful Storage: If you stack your cookware, consider using a pan divider to prevent scratching.
