The Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner does a great job cleaning carpets with its SpinScrub technology and dual tank setup. It's pretty popular for getting tough stains out.

That said, when it comes to how long it lasts, some folks have mentioned a problem with the clean water tank. It seems that the spring mechanism at the bottom can sometimes cause leaks. Not everyone has this issue, but enough people have mentioned it that it's worth considering.

From what we've found, a few people followed the manual correctly and still experienced leaks, which can be a bit frustrating. Another person said their cleaner started leaking after a few months of use.

Despite these cleaning features being quite solid, it's a good idea to think about these potential issues before buying.

The good news is that Hoover's customer service is known to be helpful and quick to respond, often sorting out replacements or repairs under warranty.

In short, the Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe offers strong cleaning capabilities that many appreciate, but it's wise to consider the leakage issues since they could impact its durability.

If leaks are a big deal for you, perhaps check out other models that might not have this issue.

And don't forget, having easy access to good customer support and a solid warranty can make all the difference.
