The VELCRO Brand ONE-WRAP Cable Ties are supposed to be 8 inches long and half an inch wide, according to how the manufacturer describes them. They're reusable, which is great if you're planning on using them more than once—they make for a pretty eco-friendly choice when it comes to managing cables.
That said, our research shows some folks have noticed a bit of a discrepancy with the length. A few people found them to be about 6.5 inches instead of the 8 inches that were expected. So, if you're counting on the precise length, just be aware this might happen.
In any case, these ties are quite effective for dealing with smaller bundles of cables, especially if you're setting them up in an office or around the house where you don't need heavy-duty gear. The big win with these is you can use them over and over again compared to the typical single-use zip ties.
Even though they're great for lighter tasks—like organizing the mess of wires behind your desk or entertainment setup—keep in mind that they may not be as strong as some of the thicker or more robust options out there. If you're thinking about using them outdoors or for heftier items, you might want to explore other choices.
But overall, for the usual indoor cable management stuff, these VELCRO ties get a thumbs-up. They're versatile, easy to use, and being reusable makes them super handy for keeping things tidy.
