The Vive Toilet Seat Riser with Handles adds 3.5 inches of height to your toilet seat, which can be a big help if you or someone you know needs some extra assistance sitting down or standing up, like seniors or folks recovering from surgery.
According to the manufacturer's product description, it works with both elongated and standard toilet bowls and secures with screws and washers—no tools needed for setup, which is pretty convenient.
There are padded handles on the sides for added comfort and grip, and they can be removed if you don't need them. It supports up to 300 pounds and has an interior lip to keep it from slipping, making it feel stable and secure.
A few things to note based on our research: while it adds a helpful amount of height and support, some people have mentioned it can be tricky to keep clean. Usually, it needs to be taken off for a thorough cleaning, which can be a bit of a hassle.
Overall, if you need a bit of extra height and support in the bathroom, the Vive Toilet Seat Riser is a solid option. Just keep in mind that cleaning might be a bit more work than usual.
