The simplehuman Sensor Mirror Hi-Fi with Alexa is like a supercharged mirror with built-in speakers and smart features. If you're curious about how it sounds, our research gathered some diverse opinions. The manufacturer claims it offers high-fidelity sound, so you'd expect clear and immersive audio for music, podcasts, or chatting with Alexa.
But how does it perform in real life? Well, opinions are a bit mixed here.
A lot of folks appreciate the convenience of having a mirror that can also play music or give news updates while you're getting ready. It's a handy multitasking tool. However, when it comes to sound quality, people have different takes. Some find the audio decent for casual listening, but it's not exactly going to blow you away like high-end speakers would.
According to our research, the sound is clear but might lack the depth and bass that make music truly pop.
The smart features are a big plus, though. The mirror integrates well with other smart home devices and you can control it with voice commands, stream music, or check the weather. Setting it up involves some initial work with the simplehuman app, where you can tweak lighting and audio settings. Some people have faced a few hiccups with Wi-Fi connectivity at first, but these issues seem fixable.
To sum it up, the simplehuman Sensor Mirror Hi-Fi is a neat gadget if you're into multifunctional devices. Just keep your expectations in check regarding its sound quality—okay for everyday use, but not something an audiophile would rave about.
Its real strength is in the overall smart functionality and how it fits into a modern, connected home.
