The Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam is pretty easy to install and use, but there are a few things to keep in mind. According to our research, the adhesive mount that comes with it can have issues in hot climates—places like Texas or Florida. The high temperatures might cause the adhesive to fail after a few months, which means the dash cam could fall off. Not fun, right?
Luckily, there's a suction mount you can use instead, and it's more reliable in extreme heat. Just make sure you either have it included when you buy or get one separately if you expect high temperatures.
On the bright side, once you get past the mounting part, the Nextbase 622GW is awesome. It has 4K video resolution, GPS tracking, and even emergency SOS functionality, along with other cool features.
Installation itself is straightforward, and the package usually includes everything you'll need. Just follow the instructions to ensure everything stays in place.
Using the dash cam is a breeze too. The touch screen interface and smartphone app connectivity make it super easy to navigate and check out your footage.
In short, if you deal with the mounting issue appropriately, the Nextbase 622GW is a solid choice due to its great video quality and extensive features.
