Folding and unfolding the Graco Modes Nest2Grow stroller can be a bit of mixed experience, based on our research.
This stroller is pretty cool because it can transform from a single to a double, which is handy as your family grows. While the versatility is great, it does require a little practice to get smooth at folding and unfolding it.
You'll need both hands free to fold it. The manufacturer describes a one-step fold mechanism that's straightforward once you get the hang of it. Still, our research shows that it's on the bulky and heavy side, so handling it along with your kids can be a bit of a juggle.
Unfolding it is fairly simple too, but you still need both hands for it. Even though the design is meant to be user-friendly, some have said there's a bit of a learning curve, especially on your own or when in tight spaces.
One thing we found is that while it's great in the single stroller mode with decent storage and seating options, it gets trickier in the double mode. Steering gets a bit more challenging with two kiddos, and you might find the fold/unfold process slightly more complex if you're in a rush.
So, if having a super easy fold is high on your list, expect a small adjustment period. Parents who mainly use it in the single mode seem to manage just fine.
Just think about how it fits into your routine and space. If adaptability and storage are big for you, it should work well. Just be sure to practice folding and unfolding a few times to get the hang of it!
