Cleaning the Instant Vortex Plus 6QT Air Fryer is pretty straightforward. From what we've gathered, it's designed to be as hassle-free as possible, particularly when it comes to maintenance.
A big plus is that several parts, like the cooking tray and basket, are dishwasher safe. You can just pop them in the dishwasher after cooking, which is super convenient and saves a lot of hand-washing time.
For the main part of the air fryer, which isn’t dishwasher safe, a quick wipe-down with a damp cloth usually does the trick. Just make sure it's cooled off first to avoid any burns or damage.
Inside, things are designed to stay clean with minimal effort. The smooth surfaces and non-stick coatings help prevent food buildup, so you won't need to scrub much to keep it fresh and clean.
We did notice that some folks have mentioned that a bit of residue can build up under the heating element if you slack on cleaning. A small brush or cloth can help tackle these spots from time to time.
All in all, the Instant Vortex Plus 6QT Air Fryer is shown to be easy to maintain. Regular cleaning after use seems to keep it in good shape and ready for all its cooking functions like Air Fry, Roast, and Bake.
