The Hydrapak Seeker 2L water storage bag seems pretty durable from what I've gathered. The manufacturer talks up its flexible TPU material, which keeps it lightweight and foldable, plus tough enough for camping and backpacking kind of trips. If you're tight on space, it's a winner since it packs down easily when not in use.
From our research, it looks like many people find it holds up well to outdoor adventures. The TPU material can really take a beating while keeping itself intact. It’s basically designed to be a handy hydration buddy for whatever outdoor stuff you're into.
There is one thing to note, though. Many folks have mentioned a weird plastic taste when they first use it. It can be a bit annoying, but people have figured out that a thorough wash and some airing out usually do the trick. Some even recommend lemon juice to help get rid of that taste. Of course, not everyone's going to notice it, so it might just depend on your taste buds.
The bag also has this wide 42mm opening, which is cool if you're using water filters. It works with a bunch of them, like the Katadyn BeFree filter, which is super handy when purifying water on the trail.
Now, when it comes to drinking straight from the bag, some folks find it a bit awkward. As you drink, the bag collapses, so it might be better to pour the water into another bottle or container first.
But overall, it seems like a solid pick for anyone needing a sturdy water storage option for their outdoor adventures.
