When thinking about how durable the Gimars keyboard and mouse wrist rest set is, it's a good idea to consider both the materials used and what others have experienced. The set is made with silky and superfine fabric over gel memory foam, and the manufacturer says it offers ergonomic support and helps with wrist discomfort.
A key feature is the non-skid rubber base that's supposed to keep everything steady. Plus, it includes small anti-slip stickers designed to keep the pieces firmly on your desk. These features are meant to make the set durable and stable, especially if you're typing a lot or gaming.
But, our research shows mixed feedback about how well it stays put. Some folks say the non-skid base works well on most surfaces. Others, though, have noted it can shift around unless the stickers are used effectively. In fact, someone even had to use double-sided tape to keep it from moving.
While these issues do pop up occasionally, most of the feedback is positive about the durability of the fabric and gel foam for regular use. For really intense use, like long gaming sessions or busy workdays, you might need to get creative with extra adhesive if the wrist rest moves more than you'd like.
Overall, the Gimars set is built for everyday use and seems reasonably durable. If the movement is a deal-breaker, a little extra tape might solve the problem, keeping things comfortable and stable.
So, while it's not perfect, the materials and design generally meet the durability needs for most people—with a little room for some DIY fixes if necessary.
