The Gravitrax Starter Set by Ravensburger is pretty cool, especially if you're into creating marble runs and exploring basic physics. It comes with 122 pieces, and according to our research, it's generally made from durable materials, so you can expect it to hold up well with repeated play.
That said, keep in mind that the base plates are made of cardboard. This could be a bit of a downside since they might not last as long as the other pieces.
We found that some folks mention the pieces don’t always click together super securely, which can be a little annoying. But on the bright side, it adds a bit of a challenge—you really have to think about how you're putting the track together.
Overall, even if there are a couple of small issues, the set mostly gets good feedback and it's a solid choice for anyone who enjoys building and learning about gravity, magnetism, and kinetics.
