The Lasko Misto Outdoor Misting Fan is a cool gadget, literally, for staying comfortable outdoors on hot days. To get the misting going, you'll need to hook it up to a regular garden hose. It uses the water pressure from the hose to create a fine mist, which, according to our research, can cool the area by up to 25 degrees. Perfect for those scorching summer afternoons!
Now, about the oscillation. The fan doesn't just blow air in one fixed direction; it swivels back and forth, helping to spread both the air and the mist across a wider area. This feature is super handy for events like BBQs or pool parties where you want to keep more space cool.
Remember, the misting and oscillation work best when you have it connected to a garden hose. Without that, it won't be able to mist since the water pressure is too low from alternatives like buckets.
So, if you're heading to a place without a garden hose, like a campsite, it'll still work as a regular fan, just minus the mist.
So, to make the most of the Lasko Misto's oscillation and misting, just ensure you've got access to a good ol' garden hose. Get that setup right, and you're in for a refreshingly cool time outdoors!
