The NRS Men's Kicker Wetshoes are pretty popular for kayaking, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The current model has swapped the adjustable strap for a non-adjustable elastic one. According to our research, this change hasn't gone over well with everyone.
The elastic strap can sometimes lead to a looser fit, and some folks have mentioned that the shoes can slip off during intense activities like kayaking or rafting. Plus, they tend to run large and wide, which doesn't help with the fit either. It might be a good idea to pay close attention to the sizing info and maybe even check out what others are saying about it to find your best fit.
That said, there are some solid benefits. The shoes are made with thick neoprene uppers and have a titanium adhesive, which keeps your feet warm and comfy—pretty important when you're in cold water for a while. The rubber soles have a nice pattern for better traction. This grip is handy for all sorts of water sports, making sure you stay stable on wet and slippery surfaces.
According to our research, this traction is something users really appreciate, adding a good safety element. Also worth mentioning is the durability. Neoprene is tough but flexible, which is great for shoes that need to handle the wear and tear of kayaking. The combo of the thick neoprene and titanium adhesive doesn't just keep you warm, it's also built to last.
So, if you're thinking about the NRS Men's Kicker Wetshoes for kayaking, weigh the pros and cons. Definitely look into the sizing and read some reviews to make sure they’ll fit snugly and comfortably for you.
