If you're thinking about wearing the Apple AirPods Max for long stretches, comfort is definitely something to keep in mind. From what we've gathered, most folks find them pretty comfy, thanks to features like the breathable mesh canopy and memory foam ear cushions. These help spread out the weight and ease pressure, which is great for long listening sessions.
The headband has a stainless steel frame wrapped in a soft-touch material, so it should feel stable without being uncomfortable. It seems to fit a lot of different head sizes well, providing a snug but comfy experience overall, according to our research.
Many people admire the high-end feel that Apple provides with the AirPods Max, especially when it comes to comfort. Of course, personal comfort can vary depending on your head shape and what you're comfortable with, but the general feedback is positive.
Now, about the weight—it’s a bit heavier compared to some other headphones out there. Some note the heft, but most find it manageable due to its design that spreads the weight out evenly. If you're sensitive to heavier headphones, it might be worth thinking about.
One more thing: the AirPods Max doesn't have an official water resistance rating, so they may not be ideal for wet conditions like during heavy exercise or when you're out in the rain. Keeping all that in mind, they deliver really top-notch audio, especially with features like Active Noise Cancellation and Spatial Audio.
Overall, the Apple AirPods Max is generally quite comfortable for long wear thanks to its thoughtful design. They're not really built for damp environments, but they do a fantastic job in terms of sound quality and comfort if you're mostly using them indoors.
If you care about both sound and comfort, and water resistance isn't a dealbreaker, they're definitely worth a look.
