The LG C3 77-inch OLED TV really shinesâliterallyâwhen it comes to picture quality, especially brightness and color. Our research shows it offers vivid and bright images with those deep, inky blacks and fantastic contrast that OLEDs are known for. This makes it a great pick whether youâre gaming or watching movies, and it performs well in both dim and well-lit rooms.
A big plus here is how the C3 handles brightness. Itâs noticeably better at balancing bright and dark scenes compared to some other OLED models. The manufacturer claims itâs got superior brightness and color accuracy, and our data backs that upâlots of folks praise these aspects in their feedback.
But, not everythingâs perfect. While the picture quality is top-notch, some folks have pointed out a couple of quirks with the smart features. Our research mentions that the WebOS platform has ads that can feel a bit intrusive, though they can be minimizedânot completely removed, though. Something to keep in mind if you like a clutter-free interface.
Also, the CEC feature, which helps connect with other devices, sometimes hits snags, especially with gaming consoles. You might need to tinker with the settings a bit to get everything working smoothly.
And if youâre someone who likes to fiddle with settings, you might find it takes a bit of effort to get things just right, which can be a hassle if youâre not super tech-savvy.
If a smooth smart TV experience is at the top of your list, you might consider adding an external streaming device. It can help sidestep some of the quirks of WebOS and let you enjoy the amazing picture quality without the hassle.
But if brightness and clarity are what youâre after, the LG C3 is definitely a standoutâit delivers stunning visuals across all kinds of content.
