If you're wondering whether the VIZIO 24-inch D-Series FHD LED Smart TV (model D24fM-K01) supports HDR, it doesn't. This model is more about delivering a straightforward smart TV experience without HDR.
The manufacturer's product description highlights its Full HD resolution, which offers decent picture quality for regular viewing. But, if you're all about vibrant colors and high dynamic range, this won't quite hit the mark. Our research also points out that the color accuracy might not always be spot-on.
On the connectivity front, this model only uses Wi-Fi and doesn't have an Ethernet port. From what we've found, some folks have had issues with Wi-Fi dropping out, especially if their home network isn't super stable.
If you're using cable or antenna TV, it has coaxial inputs, but setting it up can be a bit tricky and may take a few attempts to get all your channels.
As for the smart features, it comes loaded with SmartCast, so you've got access to a bunch of streaming apps. Just keep in mind, it can be slow at times and you can't add more apps beyond what's there. This might feel a bit limited if you're used to the flexibility of other devices.
The sound from the built-in speakers might not blow you away, based on several reviews. So, you might want to hook up some external speakers or use headphones — it supports Bluetooth, so connecting wireless audio devices is a breeze.
Overall, the VIZIO 24-inch D-Series TV is compact and light, making it ideal for small spaces like bedrooms or dorms. No fancy HDR here, but it's a solid choice for basic smart TV needs in tight spots.
